The kids are enjoying a very nice snowfall. This morning (Saturday) the snow is nice and hard…sledding should be at its best.

Kaitlyn had a wonderful time in London. I would love to go someday soon. There are 194 pictures plus video, so enjoy a few pictures.

Well, I sit here blogging hoping Kaitlyn will get to read this as she is living the life of luxury with her grandmother.

Molly and I are very proud of Kaitlyn. She was so excited to leave on her trip. We are glad that Kaitlyn has such an adventerous spirit. We believe it will serve her well as long as she keeps it in check with Jesus.

Kaitlyn, you will have to remember everything because I am going to have you take me to London someday (Lord willing). Go storm the castle!

Sorry for being a bad blogger….I have been missing in action (so to speak). I was actually surprised to see that people are still checking this site out daily. All I can say is thanks…it is an encouragement.  

Around here, some of the men put a new roof on the fellowship hall. The following day some bridges were built.

For those of you who do not know, the church has entered into a forest stewardship plan. The 13 acres of church property is in the process of becoming usable for hikes, prayer walks, and good ole fashioned camp fellowship. I actually can see the day where there may be a pavillion with a fireplace. Can you see it?

Can you see it? Fellowship under the pavillion and on cool nights a fire in the outdoor fireplace which is awesome for cooking smores!

Kaitlyn was “Whitebeard” in a recent school play. I thought she did really well. She heads to Europe on Monday…I am jealous and already missing her and she has not even left yet.

Thanks for checking in on us. This weekend (October 2-4) my mom and Charlie are visiting. Charlie and I went to check out some hunting land. It looks very promising.

Kait heads to Europe Monday afternoon, then from New York to Europe Monday evening. Pray for her.

For those who are interested today is August 29, 2008 and Karson is 7 years old.  I think back to the times when Molly and I discovered God had opened the womb. I remember when we found out she was carry our third child. We were in Seminary at SEBTS and praying through a decision about coming to Bethel Hill Baptist.

Karson has brought much joy into our lives and he keeps his entire family laughing!

What do we do at Camp Fitch?

Some go to “polar bear” at 7:30am. We all go to breakfast at 8:30am. After breakfast until noon, we may swim in Lake Erie, sail on Lake Erie, jump on a trampoline in Lake Erie, ride a jet ski on Lake Erie, ride the banana on Lake Erie, rope swing in Lake Mavima, swim at the pool, bike ride, horse back ride, archery, shoot rifles or bb’s, or go on a walk, or simply hang out around the camp. The one thing that we almost always do…have fun!

Karson hit a bulls eye in archery and climbed the 40 ft. rock climbing wall twice!

I sure wish I could explain to you our week at Camp Fitch.

As you can see, the masks were once again popular among the family. At camp, they have a skit night and the family did a skit with our masks. I was John Fitch!

I also made some “duck tape” shoes and Randy made himself a hat out of duck tape.

It was Tuesday evening, and Kia (grandma) had gone missing. She had been gone for about 4 hours and we were beginning to get concerned. Randy and I saw her van, then Randy said, “Is that Maggie in the passenger seat?”

No way I thought. Maggie is in Germany!

As the picture indicates, Maggie surprised us all. Noone (except Kia) knew Maggie was coming. She flew in on Tuesday and back to Germany on Saturday. I must say seeing Maggie and having this surprise was one of our highlights.
