We woke up to a beautiful snowy morning. Yesterday, I spoke on the “righteousness of God.” I often think about how the covering of ”snow” reminds me of the covering of Christ’s blood.
“Come now let us reason together says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; . . .”
Last week, the woods behind us went through a “controlled burn.” A bulldoser created a fire line, and foresters burnt a section of the property. The area is black, but you cannot tell today because of the covering.
Although our sins are like scarlet, a person can be in a right standing with God through faith in Christ. When God looks at me, He sees His Son’s righteousness.
All of that to say…I love snow (for more reasons than one).
So do I!!!! Praise God for His covering us with His righteousness!
