As many of you know, we went to Atlanta recently for Molly’s dad surprise 60th birthday party. It was fun. Two highlights for me personally: First, Molly and her family put together a notebook of memories. Most of the memories where things people wrote. Molly’s dad received letters from prisoners, athletes, a mayor, a CBS excutive, Joe Theisman, and more. I was impressed not so much by the names, but the wide spectrum of his influence. Second, I loved watching Molly’s dad interact with two of his former teammates (Oakland Raiders). It was fun hearing their stories. I could have listened to them all day.
