A Brief Moment of Silence

The house is quiet.  Jason wisked the kids off to a 2pm ball practice for Karson and a 3pm make-up game for the girls.  I stayed home.  The Ladies Bible study is finishing today, and that is at 4pm.  We just completed a study by Beth Moore, “A Heart Like His”.  It is the a [...]

Today, I left the house at 5:30am and headed for Wake Forest. For a number of reasons, I truly enjoy being here. I enjoy seeing friends who take seriously the Word of God and who are striving to understand it, interpret it, obey it, all for the purpose of proclaiming it. Right now it is 11:37am, and I sit [...]

The coaches seemed impressed with his swing. I also remember him getting distracted, but he is only 5. I also remember that after [...]

Just for you Kaitlyn

Early this evening our family was reviewing our blog (we may be the only viewers). Kaitlyn wanted to be on the blog, so as she sleeps…I post! Beware what you wish for. I love you Kaitlyn, you silly girl!

Our Silly 5 Year Old

One of our great joys as a family is to scroll through our camera. Why? We discover pictures that Karson has taken of himself (like the top picture). This is just one of many, and each picture brings us much laughter.

The Face Says it All

This is Karson. He is the funniest five year old I know. Right now we are all watching a movie together. My experimenting with this blog will have to end, but what a picture to end the night with. Karson is a great baseball player. I look forward to seeing his first game.
